chicken pot pie noodles
ingredients
· 1 10 oz bag egg noodles
· 1 2 tbsp butter
· 1/2 cup finely chopped onion
· 4 cloves garlic, minced
· 1 10 oz bag frozen peas and carrots
· 2 tbsp flour
· 1 cup chicken broth
· 1 cup heavy cream
· 1 tbsp ranch dressing powder mix
· 2 cups cooked chicken
· salt and pepper to taste
inSTRUCTIONS
1. Bring a large pot of water to boil, cook egg noodles according to package.
2. In a large skillet, melt butter over medium-high heat.
3. Add garlc, onion, peas and carrots. Saute for 4-5 minutes until onions are translucent.
4. Mix in flour until its no longer white.
5. Stir in chicken broth, heavy cream, and ranch dressing mix.
6. Bring to a simmer and cook 3-4 minutes until sauce starts to thicken.
7. Stir in cooked chicken and noodles.
8. Let cook until everything is warm. Salt and pepper to taste.
